In 80s of 19th century Antimoz Chkhaidze, the ancestor of the founders of the Company, founded a wine cellar in Askana and established the wine production. Later, in 1998 the ASKANELI Company was founded by Chkhaidze brothers. Nowadays, ASKANELI is a modern, dynamically developing production facility.
